Playing hookie

So, I've been playing hookie from school this past week. It was pretty much necessary - I've been bogged down with stress, the blues, and family gloominess that I just needed to hop on a plane, escape, and go have some fun and make some art.

I've had an amazing time this week. I finally got to work with two photographers I've wanted to collaborate with for a very long time: Nad Iksodas & AJ Kahn. They were wonderful, and I had an absolute blast creating art with both of them. I also got to visit and stay with Lela Rae again, which was so very lovely. She is a sweetheart.

I also got to work with two favorites again: Dave Levingston and Chip Willis. Both have very different styles, but both are brilliant in their own way.

I am happiest when I am naked. And with friends. Preferably at the same time.

Yes, Dave, but she didn't say that she preferred her friends to be naked - did she???

I hope you got the blues out of your system, Brooke, and can get your head back into the books again.

She knows I will be naked with her when she visits here.
She can't have all the fun you see.

Man I really like AJ's shot!

And of course I love working with you! Simply a pleasure.

More profound words have never been spoken.

Well, . . . maybe. But not today. ;)

Truly a pleasure to both meet, and work with you..

And one lesson I hope you remember from my neck of the woods?
Never fear the pizza that comes out of a gas station, turned bar.
